Saving a 110 year old Chestnut Door in Montclair

 

Its not to often that you meat such a down to earth couple. From the start of our meeting it was easy to see the love that Larry and Jane have for their home. I felt honored, when I was entrusted to recreate the opening of their wonderful home. 

 

After stripping the paint and seeing the structure of the door and years of abuse from the elements, we had our hands full. Here are a couple of pics that show the process!
